Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents, she began her career as a child actor just after emigrating to United States. In AT&T television commercials she played the character of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 through 2016 and 2020. She was a regular host of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also starred in the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub was originally cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, was voiced in that role since. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of two She and her parents moved to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. She began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly and then dropped out in her second year. She later obtained a GED, and earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She was a part of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and studied the art of improv comedy.
