Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian, and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. From 2013 to 2016 she worked as the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. Her fame was boosted due to her appearances in TV commercials. In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally, she was a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl in Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot series New Warriors. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents, who were two years old, immigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to the family's financial troubles the actress began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But she dropped out of the school in her sophomore year. She earned the GED and was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. Through the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
